The Sunflower Sound System is inspired by Floating Points' favourite loudspeaker setups around the world, one of which being Cosmic Slop. Tom Smith (Cosmic Tom), the engineer behind this system, has been working with Floating Points, through his company Seed, to design and build the cabinets for Sunflower. _____________________________________________ In partnership with Floating Points, and as an example to others, Seed is donating a portion of the proceeds from constructing the Sunflower Sound System to MAP Charity. Seed is funding ongoing workshops with the students to access audio engineering, specifically building their own bluetooth speakers. ____________________________________________
